The Characters

Olivia Holt as Victoria “Saber” Sloane
Saved from certain death by an experimental technique and made into a Cyborg by Dr. Goran Dragunov and the investments that Special Division Six Logistics made in his research, Victoria Sloane was given the code name Abattoir and turned into a deadly field agent for SD6L. Occasional glimpses of the life she lived before her apparent death led her down a rabbit hole that revealed she had once been an assassin working for the CIA as part of an off-the-books operation known as Anger of Angels. Teaming with Charlize and Siobhan, Victoria ultimately worked alongside her comrades to undermine SD6L from within on behalf of G.I. Joe’s Operation Snake Charmer. Now a G.I. Joe operative codenamed Saber, Victoria works to dismantle whatever remains of SD6L while trying to find her daughter and get vengeance on the elements within the CIA that once betrayed her. Many mysteries remain, however, not the least of which is whether Victoria can bring herself to function under G.I. Joe’s stricter tenets and whether or not she can adjust to her new life.

Freya Allan as Charlize “Princess” Worthington
Born to noble parents serving the British government as diplomats, Charlize Worthington grew up with every advantage, but it was her intelligence, personal magnetism, and facility with languages that led Special Division Six Logistics to recruit her and train her as a spy. Believing that she was working for a joint covert project of MI6 and the American CIA, Charlize was horrified to discover the truth that she was actually working for a branch of the terrorist organization Cobra. Taking initiative, Charlize reached out to contacts and eventually heard back from G.I. Joe operative Nephilim. She began working as a double agent within SD6L, performing counter-missions at the direction of her new GI Joe handler. Eventually, Charlize revealed the truth first to Siobhan and then later Victoria and with their help ran many counter-missions. Eventually, she also revealed the truth to another agent, Harper Bennett, and brought her onboard as well. Now operating under the codename Princess, she works with her G.I. Joe teammates both new and old to unravel what remains of SD6L.

Hayden Panettiere as Siobhan “Morrigan” MacLeod
Getting into trouble almost always brings the wrong kind of attention eventually, but that is especially true when you are a tech genius with valuable skills who can be essentially blackmailed into service in exchange for erasing some of those past mistakes. Though Siobhan knew right away that her employers at Special Division Six Logistics were not who they claimed to be, it took time and revelations from Charlize before the full truth came out. When Charlize revealed her affiliation with G.I. Joe, Siobhan finally so an opportunity to extricate herself from the clutches of the terrible people who had pressed her into service. A brilliant and capable aid to Charlize’s mission, Siobhan offered mastery of technology that proved valuable time and time again during the dangerous double-missions that the team had to undertake. When the time came, Siobhan took a deal from G.I. Joe like Victoria and Harper that offered her a pardon for any past crimes, but obligated her to become a G.I. Joe operative and continue her work for Operation Snake Charmer.

Inbar Lavi as Nessa “Nephilim” Landau
G.I. Joe recruited former Mossad operative Nessa Landau after she stumbled upon a Cobra operation while investigating an Iranian terror plot. Taking the code name Nephilim, Nessa joined Viscount’s Operation Snake Charmer team dedicated to exposing and dismantling SD6L. Though an experienced and capable spy, Nessa had a tendency to favor an aggressive approach to getting the job done, causing some concern that she was too willing to burn an asset for a short-term goal. However, Nephilim’s past personal connection to Charlize proved a strong enough incentive to temper her desires and ultimately she was able to assist Charlize in her mission and help bring Victoria, Siobhan, and Harper into the fold. Now no longer responsible for handling Charlize as an asset, Nephilim’s primary role within Operation Snake Charmer is to help Viscount coordinate the field team’s activities.

Joseph Lee Anderson as Alphonso “Gambit” Grant
A college football player who looked headed toward a future as an NFL player, the course of Alphonso Grant’s life changed when his mother Megan and younger sister Janelle were killed during a terrorist attack on the government building where Megan worked. Alphonso opted to forgo a chance at an NFL career to enlist in the Army. A gifted athlete with a sharp mind, Alphonso qualified for Army Ranger training. Following training and a short deployment in Afghanistan, Alphonso was recruited into GI Joe, where he would subsequently learn that the attack that killed his mother and sister was in fact a Cobra operation. Though relatively early in his GI Joe career, Alphonso has dedicated himself to stopping Cobra and has taken a role as a small unit squad leader responsible for field command of Operation Snake Charmer assets. Gambit’s efforts to integrate the newest members of the team remain a work in progress.

Maddison Jaizani as Abigail “Seeker” Westbrook
The daughter of Lord Richard and Lady Amelia Westbrook of Surrey, Abigail was a bright and gifted child who received an extensive education and graduated early from Cambridge University with a degree in archaeology. She spent the next several years training under Dane Roth, a former British SAS operative who undertook dangerous archaeological expeditions to far-flung corners of the world in search of historical artifacts. During an expedition to the Himalayas, Abigail stumbled upon several Cobra-La artifacts and developed a fascination with them. Unfortunately, Roth was killed, but Abigail escaped with several more artifacts and proved herself a capable survivor. Shortly after, G.I. Joe recruited her for her expertise and knowledge of Cobra-La. Since her recruitment, she has undertaken further training to hone her survival and combat skills and she now serves Operation Snake Charmer as a scout and expert in historical artifacts.

Lyrica Okano as Kasumi “Kitsune” Yamashita
A native of Osaka, Japan and a distant cousin of Tomasiburo Arashikage, Kasumi Yamashita trained as a gymnast from a young age and appeared to be headed for the Japanese Olympic team. That dream disappeared when Red Ninjas in the service of Cobra killed her parents when she was only thirteen. Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow arrived too late to save her parents, but they were able to rescue her and bring her back to the United States. While she was placed with a foster family in Philadelphia, Kasumi never forgot what had happened to her family and demanded that Storm Shadow train her in the Arashikage tradition. He ultimately relented and trained her in ninjitsu and then facilitated her recruitment to G.I. Joe so that he could be certain she would not embark on a lone crusade for revenge. Kasumi was recruited into Operation Snake Charmer by Viscount specifically because of her outsider perspective and because he believed that she could be a “unique and asymmetrical” asset. A woman of few words, she has nonetheless earned the trust and admiration of her teammates.

Joshua Gomez as Fleischman “Polymath” Winkelvoss
The Former Man in the Chair
Computer expert and gadget maker extraordinaire, there is no question that Fleischman J. Winkelvoss is a genius, but whether he’s actually human or an alien of some sort might still be up for debate. Fleischman was responsible for providing field support and overwatch to SD6L teams active in the field as well as providing any special tech that field agents needed for their missions. Surprisingly personable despite his general lack of social graces and the fact that he is the poster boy for nerds everywhere, there remains some mystery about how exactly Polymath ended up with SD6L.He displayed a certain fondness for Siobhan and to a lesser extent Charlee during their time together at SD6L. When Central ordered the liquidation of all SD6L assets at the Chester facility, Polymath should have been among those killed, but no body was ever recovered and a coded message left for Siobhan suggests that he may have somehow made it out of the facility before the self-destruct was initiated.

Jay Harrington as Sebastian “Viscount” Baylor
The Man with a Plan
As a promising young Lieutenant in the Army Rangers, Sebastian Baylor managed to save his team after they were caught in a Cobra ambush. General Hawk was so impressed by Baylor’s actions that he immediately recruited young Sebastian to the G.I. Joe team. Taking the codename Viscount, Sebastian proved a quick study and master strategist. After being raised to the rank of Captain, Viscount was given command of Operation Snake Charmer and told to assemble a hand-picked team of new recruits. Committed to seeing an end of SD6L, Sebastian green-lit the use of Charlize as a double-agent within the enemies ranks. He also signed off on the move to approve the recruitment of additional SD6L personnel into the operation on the recommendations of Charlee and Nephilim. While his moves ultimately proved successful, there are elements within G.I. Joe command that question the wisdom of bringing in what they regard as dangerous and volatile elements. Viscount counters by pointing out that such risk brought down what had been Cobra’s most successful and dangerous operation.

Adrian Pasdar as Central
The Man Who Would Be King
A stern and calculating man who hates to waste an asset, Central ran SD6L with an iron fist and made sure that his Cobra benefactors benefited from the division’s unique structure. When it became clear that his beloved operation had become compromised, however, he did not hesitate to order SD6L’s liquidation. Where he is now and what his plans are remain a mystery that Operation Snake Charmer aims to solve, but what is very clear is that Central has a plan and he will do everything in his abilities to advance Cobra’s agenda by whatever means remain available to him. While the loss of SD6L’s Chester facility and most of its personal is a setback that Central would readily acknowledge, he views it only as a single battle in a larger war that he very much aims to win.
Central Character Sheet (pdf)

Mads Mikkelsen as Dr. Goran Dragunov
The Doctor
Dr. Goran Dragunov ostensibly headed up SD6L’s medical division and services, but it was his research into cybernetics as a way of saving and extending life that clearly intrigued Central. While few within SD6L knew much about Dragunov’s research or its outcomes, Victoria Sloane was proof of concept for the value it represented to the organization. Oddly, Dragunov evinced an almost fatherly concern for Victoria that appeared genuine. Whatever the case may be regarding his relationship to Victoria, Central clearly valued Dr. Dragunov’s work and made a point of extracting the good Doctor from the facility before ordering Predator to initiate the base’s self-destruct.
Dr. Dragunov Character Sheet (pdf)

Neal McDonough as Conrad “Predator” Duggan
The Cleaner
Conrad Duggan enjoyed a notorious reputation among other SD6L operatives. As the most senior field operative, he was generally only brought in for high priority missions. With an ice cold demeanor and a penetrating stare, few chose to associate with or ask too many questions of Conrad, and even Central offered him a certain degree of deference. Agents who had occasion to work with Duggan claimed that he is near machine-like in his efficiency. Completely loyal to Central, it was Predator who was given the assignment to liquidate SD6L’s Chester facility and see that the base’s self-destruct was initiated. It is likely that Predator has since returned to Central and is once again carrying out the orders of his boss with ruthless intent.
Predator Character Sheet (pdf)

Lauren Tsai as Grace “Vector” Chang
Given the small operating footprint of Operation Snake Charmer, Viscount feels the need to keep his team small with agents capable of filling multiple roles. To that end, he jokes that Grace “Vector” Chang is his right hand and that without her he would be crippled. Whether that is the truth or hyperbole, Grace is indeed highly capable across a variety of areas, serving as Operation Snake Charmer’s technician, quartermaster, and pilot as well as field support in a pinch. Grace fills her multi-hyphenate role without complaint and with a notable sense of humor, observing that it is a pretty weird position for a self-described computer nerd to be in.
Vector Character Sheet (pdf)

Gabriel Basso as Brian “Edge” Sutherland
The Oktober Guard Traitor
Brian “Edge” Sutherland didn’t talk a great deal about how he ended up as part of SD6L. Whatever his past, he became one of the agency’s best young recruits and a favorite of Central. While Edge engaged with Charlee, Siobhan, and Victoria on a number of missions, he ultimately proved to be a double agent like Charlee, only working for the Oktober Guard rather than G.I. Joe. When the team learned the truth about Edge’s true allegiances, they made sure that a warning got through to him before exposing him as a traitor to cover their own tracks. Edge was ultimately able to escape before Predator could kill him, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
Edge Character Sheet (pdf)

Gemma Chan as Lillian “Sapphire” Song
Once Central’s right hand, Sapphire was the head of recruitment for SD6L and took responsibility for teaching new agents about proper etiquette and the arts of disguise and manipulation. Known for her surprisingly gentle demeanor, Sapphire was the most approachable member of SD6L’s leadership team who showed a level of genuine care and empathy for the needs of her agents. Poised and confident, she was the model that agents were taught to emulate. During the period when Charlee, Siobhan, and Victoria were operating, Sapphire often seemed to unexpectedly aid or protect them for her own reasons, and she enjoyed a strangely protective relationship to Harper. She also may have been a source aiding Stiletto. Eventually, Charlee and company learned that Sapphire is actually hundreds or even thousands of years old. As Sapphire’s relationship with Central deteriorated, he ordered her killed, but evidence suggests she may have escaped.
Sapphire Character Sheet (pdf)

Kat Graham as Harper “Overwatch” Bennett
In contrast to her angelic singing voice, Harper Bennett’s background is a tragic tale. SD6L extracted her from what would likely have been a long prison sentence and transformed her from a gifted but troubled teen into a supremely capable covert operative. An incredibly capable marksman, she ws generally deployed as long-range fire support for tactical operations teams sent on sweep and clear or extraction missions. One of SD6L’s earliest recruits, Harper served for years under the codename Broadway, but her circumstances changed dramatically after Charlee, Siobhan, and Victoria rescued her along with Piranha during a mission in Mexico. She would go on to serve alongside them on multiple missions after that, becoming close with both Charlee and Siobhan. Ultimately, Charlee revealed the truth to her and she opted to take a deal with G.I. Joe similar to the one that Siobhan and Victoria agreed to. Now she serves as a G.I. Joe operative with the codename Overwatch.
Overwatch Character Sheet (pdf)

Patrick Schwarzenegger as Lucas “Piranha” Mitchell
Survival and Ambush Specialist
Lucas Mitchell was a promising high school athlete from Oklahoma with a bright future ahead of him until a drunken night of revelry with his friends resulted in two of them ending up dead following a street fight with a group of students from a rival school. Lucas killed three people that night. Resigned to his life being over, Lucas was surprised to wake up in an underground facility where he was told that his old life was over, but that he now had an opportunity for a new life and purpose. Trained to be an operative for SD6L, Lucas specialized in wilderness survival, ambush tactics, and close quarters combat. He served alongside Charlee, Victoria, and Siobhan a handful of times, proving himself a psychopath who enjoyed killing. Piranha died when Predator destroyed the Chester SD6L facility.

Nina Dobrev as Countess Nadya “Enigma” Ivankov
Ex-CIA Operative
The third child of a family of Bulgarian nobles, Nadya Ivankov lived the jet-setting lifestyle of a rich heiress and international party girl, but that life was just a mask for the fact that she was actually a CIA asset tasked with watching over Dr. Joseph Tingle and his ground-breaking research into the elimination of fear. Her assignment put her into the middle of Operation Snake Charmer’s investigation. Nadya agreed to serve as an asset within the CIA, but ultimately her efforts nearly got her killed by rogue elements within the agency working with Cobra. Saved by the efforts of Stiletto and then the Operation Snake Charmer team, Nadya has now accepted recruitment into GI Joe and the Operation Snake Charmer team. She fully intends to see this investigation put to bed one way or another.
Nadya Character Sheet (pdf)

David Corenswet as Owen “Stiletto” Kent
CIA Assassin
Very little is known about the man referred to as Stiletto, but he was once Victoria’s partner when they were both assassins working off book for the CIA. Following Victoria’s alleged death, he hid their daughter somewhere and then set about trying to find out who at the Agency betrayed them so that he might seek vengeance. He has not retreated from that mission since discovering that Victoria is alive, though he has helped her and her teammates on at least one occasion. He also revealed to Charlize that someone called only “The Dragon” had been feeding him useful intelligence about rogue elements within the CIA. Rescued from the clutches of Cobra by Victoria, Siobhan, and Charlee, Stiletto helped Victoria reunite with both their daughter and Victoria’s father, but he was later killed when Cobra forces attacked the Pit following Mainframe’s betrayal.

Glen Powell as Lieutenant Trent “Stratego” Wren
The Profiler
Lieutenant – or more informally Dr. – Wren is a brilliant military psychiatrist who served with the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment–Delta before his recruitment into G.I. Joe. As a member of G.I. Joe he has provided counseling to his fellow Joes as well as doing profile work for various commanding officers across the unit. He also provides recruitment advice and consent. Recently, he worked with Viscount on the intake of the three new recruits who formerly worked for SD6L – Saber, Morrigan, and Overwatch. He has taken a particular interest in Operation Snake Charmer and has evinced concern about mental health within the unit, requesting to take a direct hand in making sure that the unit maintains operational efficiency. To that end, he made a formal request to Viscount to be added to the field team.

Virginia Gardner as Lucy Abernathy
An Honest Reporter
Lucy Abernathy dreamed of growing up to be a real life Lois Lane – an honest to goodness investigative reporter who would doggedly pursue the truth no matter where it took her. After graduating from Northeastern, she doggedly worked a series of low-end stringer jobs to prove her metal before ultimately catching the eye of an editor at the New York Post. Lucy had only been working at the paper for a short time when she exposed a major scandal involving a 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals judge taking bribes from the Gambino crime family. The story earned her the good will of the paper and her choice of assignments. Determined to continue the dogged pursuit of exposing corruption, she began pursuing a story about the private military contractor Riptide that would prove fateful and get her mixed up in a story far than even she could have imagined.
