Kingmaker Character Starting Bonuses
Making a character appropriate to the adventure is important. Based on the choices you make in character creation, your character compiles a “Kingmaker Score” that determines some additional starting benefits. Add together the score indicated in the right-hand column of the above chart to determine your total score and then compare it to the chart below to determine what additional starting benefits you accrue. Note that for Skills and Languages, you acquire all of the points for those items. This means that having both Diplomacy and Society is worth +10!

While the character building information presented above supersedes the details presented in the official Kingmaker player’s guide, there is nevertheless a lot of great information presented in that player’s guide that makes for useful reading, including the kingdom rules that play in important part in the adventure path (even if not in the beginning!).
